How to Reset Your Password
Nearly all Town accounts are required to register for self-service password reset. Self-service password reset gives you the ability to change or reset your password, with no administrator or help desk involvement. If your account is locked or you forget your password, you can follow prompts to unblock yourself and get back to work.
Reset your password from anywhere using the web
If you're not at a Town computer or don't have access to one, you can reset your password from the web (using a personal computer or mobile device).
- Visit www.office.com
- Click Sign in
- Enter your email address
- Click Next
- Click Forgot my password
- Enter the required verification characters
- Click Next
- Follow the steps provided
Reset your password from the Windows login prompt
On Town computers a Reset password option is available from the Windows login prompt. Clicking on this option will take you through the step-by-step process.
