Report Phishing & Junk Emails
The IT department is constantly working to combat junk and phishing emails. Legitimate junk usually provides a link to unsubscribe, found towards the bottom of the email message. For the remaining junk emails that don't have any easy way of being stopped, you can report the email as phishing or junk. You can also report emails as not junk that were incorrectly marked as such. The ability to report emails is available on nearly all Outlook platforms.
- Reach out to the IT department if you ever have a concern about a particular email.
- Never forward malicious emails.
- Emails detected with malware and/or malicious links are sent directly to a quarantine managed by the IT department.
Phishing vs Junk

Phishing - Emails intended to trick you into revealing sensitive information such as passwords or other personal information.
-
Junk - Harmless but annoying emails.
