How to Use Voicemail

First Time Voice Mailbox Setup
- Press the Voicemail button & press the Call VM soft key
- Enter the default password 123456 and press #
Follow the audio prompts to change your password and record your name (for security reasons, trivial passwords such as 123456 or 111111 should not be used)
Passwords can be 6 to 26 numbers long.

1 - Record greeting
2 - Set call state
3 - Re-assign extension

5 - Enable/disable envelope information

Record Your Personal Greeting
- From the main menu, press 7
- Press 1 to record your greeting ~ follow the audio prompts to record, review, and save
Check Your Voicemail From Your Phone
Visual Voice
- Press the Voicemail Button
- Enter your password and Press OK or #
- Use the up/down arrow to select the message and press play to listen
- Use the soft keys for more message options
Audio Prompts
- Press the Voicemail button and press the Call VM soft key
- Enter your password and Press #
- Press 1 to listen to new messages and follow the audio prompts for more message options
Check Your Voicemail From Another Extension
- Press the Voicemail button & press the Call VM soft key
- Press the # key
- Enter your extension
- Enter your password and Press #
Check Your Voicemail Remotely
- Dial the main number
- Press # while menu options play
- Follow the audio prompts to log into your mailbox
Change Your Extension Assignment
Assign your primary extension to another phone when sitting at another extension:
- Press options softkey
- Press assign softkey
- Enter your extension & password
Optional Method
- Log in to Voicemail from the target phone ~ an extension other than your own
- Press Voicemail button then press Call VM softkey
- At the main menu prompt, press 7
- Press 3to re-assign the extension
- press 1 to assign the extension here
- press 2 to un-assign the extension (extension reverts to original extension)
